Practical info
Important information
The sailing is not included in the price. In addition to the food, a fee of 139 DKK per adult must be paid for the sailing ticket, and 69 DKK per child aged 4-12 years. Children aged 0-3 sail for free onboard.
Note: If you only order a sailing ticket without food, you are a deck passenger and therefore do not have a table during the journey. It is still possible to order drinks and snacks during the sailing.
Due to safety on board, it is important that tickets are purchased/reserved for everyone – including very small children.
Payment
We accept cash and credit cards. Payments made with foreign credit cards are subject to the credit card company’s fee
Parking and transport
It is possible to park in the large parking lot at the Viking Ship Museum. Come in good time, the parking lot is used by many. Bus 203 & 207 run from Roskilde Station to the port.
Disabled people
We welcome people with walking difficulties and wheelchair users, but unfortunately the ship’s doors are too narrow for electric wheelchairs. When booking a table, please let us know if there are people with walking difficulties or wheelchair users in your party – we will take this into account when placing the table.
We would like to point out that the deck is not is suitable for wheelchair users. For that reason, it is unfortunately not possible for wheelchair users to be deck passengers.
Diets and allergies
Our dishes are available in both gluten-free, lactose-free, and vegan versions. Please contact and inform us of any preferences when booking.
Weather conditions and safety
Your safety is our highest priority. If the weather makes it unsafe to sail, Sagafjord reserves the right to cancel the sailing. In such cases, the option for dinner in port or a full refund will be offered.
Dogs and animals
Unfortunately, it is not allowed to have pets on board Sagafjord (guide dogs are exempt).
